Recent buys!

Hello pretties! I hope everyone had a safe and fun filled 4th of July weekend! Below are photos of purchases I've made in the last few weeks. I def splurged a little, so no more shopping trips for a while ;)

This is a silky & airy romper that is perfect for Miami weather & my upcoming trip to Costa Rica. I bought it at The Closet Boutique close to my house in South Miami. For those of you who don't live in Miami you should know that we have a lot of "trendy boutiques." With that said, for some strange reason I've had bad experiences with really snotty boutique owners. However, the owner of the Closet Boutique, Loretta, is one of the sweetest girls I've ever met. We met for the first time & chatted for about half an hour. Her kind hospitality & friendliness will definitely keep me going back.
Shot out to Loretta! :)

(She updates photos of new merchandise daily & I believe she even ships!)

This is one of two dresses I bought at the T.B.D. department in Nordstrom. I absolutely love how this dress looks on.  The photo does not do it justice. It's very feminine, sexy, and fun. I can definitely wear her in the the daytime with wedges or at night with dressier sandals.

This is the second dress I bought at Nordstrom in the T.B.D. department. I love love love the pattern. Again, this picture does not do it justice. The belt really defines my waist & I absolutely love the zippered shoulders.

This is my new VS bathing suit I bought with a gift card. I've been spending a lot of time in the pool so I decided to be on the look out for a new fun & girly suit. I love strapless tops (although this comes with optional straps) because I hate tan lines. It was paired with a different bottom, but I just thought the polkas were fun.

What do y'all think?

  3. Thanks Angie... It was about $100 with taxes I believe. It's a little much, but I know myself and I will wear it a lot. I'm also kind of tired of buying $25-$30 dresses at forever 21 & having them to dump them after 2 uses. The material of that dress is very durable.

  4. @angeline: that's my fav one too :)

I understand your issues with quality which is why a good day at Marshalls is heaven for me. But let me tell you that I can't wait to lose weight so I can grab a cheapy dress or top at Forever.. you do find trendy things there that you can toss and not feel bad about it.
